About
A senior partner, not a junior team.
When you engage JLW Solutions, you work directly with an experienced senior consultant — not a project manager coordinating a team of analysts. That's a deliberate choice.
Background
JLW Solutions was founded on a simple premise: that SME businesses navigating rapid growth, transformation, or operational complexity deserve senior-level expertise — not a polished pitch followed by junior delivery.
With over 20 years of experience across SME, PE-backed, multinational, and growth-stage organisations, I bring a breadth of capability that is rare in a single consultant. I have held senior finance leadership roles, led ERP implementations (Sage Intacct, SAP, Xero), managed group consolidations across 14 subsidiaries, led M&A due diligence, and guided leadership teams through significant organisational change. I have worked across sectors including B2B marketing, industrial products, healthcare, EdTech, and professional services.
My approach is direct and practical. I ask the right questions, form a clear view quickly, and focus on outcomes rather than process. I have delivered board-ready reporting, built financial controls from scratch, managed AP/AR teams, and project-managed complex programmes — including a Department for Education-approved EdTech product. I work as a trusted partner to leadership teams: challenging where necessary, supporting where needed.
I work with a small number of clients at any one time, which means you get my full attention and genuine commitment to your outcomes.
How I work
Senior throughout
You deal with me directly from first conversation to final delivery. No handoffs, no surprises.
Outcome-focused
I measure success by what changes in your business, not by the volume of documents produced.
Honest and direct
I will tell you what I think, including when the answer is uncomfortable. That's what a trusted advisor does.
Selective by design
I work with a small number of clients at any one time. That focus is what makes the difference.

Let's have a conversation.
